The words are a little stuck at the moment .. trapped inside my head, and a little drowned out by the darkness of recent events. While I am healing, processing and rebuilding I find that beautiful photography is particularly soothing. So the words are a little light on this occasion, I hope that you enjoy these photos and the stories and lovely people behind them.

From the top:

The Forgotten Ones is a photographic project that I came across on Instagram this week. Alexandrena Parker is the photographer, and she lives with Cystic Fybrosis. “The project seeks to celebrate and recognise the unspoken and often forgotten support that siblings provide to loved ones suffering.”

Luisa Brimble takes the most beautiful photos of people gathering and sharing food, amongst other things .. it is the gathering and the food that I love most about her style though!

Lara Hotz has always been one of my favourite wedding photographers, and this dress .. there is so much to adore about this photo!

Jodi has the most gentle and intimate way of capturing her family, I find so much peace in her words and I love everything about this recent photo of her daughter.

Beautifully, Suddenly was one of the first photography blogs I followed, Natasha takes amazing photos and I need loads of ‘calm blue ocean’ right now!

Instagram is like wandering through millions of photo exhibitions or art galleries, all in the palm of your hand! What is not to love about the sense of community, the kindness and connection to be found with like minded creatives .. and the sheer mind blowing beauty!

I have loads of favourites, today I am sharing 5 of the Instagram beauties that I find myself drawn to and loving lately:

From the top collage of 4:

Cassandra Ladru is one of my favourite photographers, her pictures inspire me to take more photos, see the beauty everywhere and they always have me dreaming of far away places and the sheer joy of destination weddings!

Justina Blakeney is the queen of lush boho interiors! It’s all about the beautiful light that she manages to capture so well, the amazing indoor plants and the explosions of colour and happiness.

Kawaiian Lion feature a whole lot of inspired interior styling! The peace cushion and all of their Hawaiian themed homewares are the perfect way to add a little tropical dreaming to your days!

Kaylyn Weir is my pink haired girl crush! This chick is simply gorgeous, and she can rock a sequin dress with that pink like no one else! I adore every photo that she shares, and I kind of (really) want to be her!

Sugar and Bloom takes the most amazing photos around Sydney, I am making a list of places that I want to visit based on this Instagram feed! I love the way that the light, the pretty details and the magic of our city is captured!
