I have a little dream to capture and share more moments of joy, and to inspire you to notice and capture more moments of joy too. #theartofjoyproject is a hashtag that I have been quietly using on Instagram, you can have a look at the posts here. A hashtag is a little bit like a virtual photo album, it makes it easy for me to gather all of the moments of joy that have been captured and shared. I would love for you to add to the album too.
Some days (mostly on Fridays after a week of high snot levels in little people) you just need to sip some bubbles, share some laughs and deep conversation and then wander around taking a million shots of the most beautiful city in the world. So this is what my Friday looked like .. all the angles of the Sydney Opera House, the stormy skies, my beautiful friend Sammie, the hidden corners of our amazing Harbour and I am truly refreshed and filled with motivation again!
Floral Photography, or Florography, is a beautiful thing. The detail, colour and depth to be found in flowers is infinite and there are some hugely creative people taking and sharing beautiful photos of flowers. It is such a lovely thing to stop every now and then to appreciate the people who are seeing things through fresh creative eyes. Lisa Sorgini, Ashley Woodson Bailey and Jess Flett from A Little Part of the World are all creating beautiful floral photos.
