Inspired by .. Christine Rose Elle

Christine Rose Elle .. she had me at that name! Honestly, this was the first thing I noticed about this beautiful radiant soul. I then quickly discovered there was a lot more to love! Such a generous, wise and supportive person who seems to just want the best for everyone around her, including all of the abandoned pets in LA! True story, and all a part of her lovely interview.

Christine was her generous and kind self when she agreed to be a part of this interview series, and I think I must have had a sense that she was about to win the CEO SHINE AWARD in the Beautiful You Academy Awards! So deserved ..

Extra-ordinary humans | Living their lives with true JOY | Changing the world around them |

Where in the world do you call home?

Hollywood, California.

Describe your home and neighbourhood and the best thing about living there:

I actually live a few blocks away from the Walk of Fame, and the theatre where they have the Academy Awards every year. It’s so beautiful. Palm trees, gorgeous architecture, and early morning ocean air. I am in love with Los Angeles. I live in an empty flat at the moment. A part of me is dying to get furniture, but another part of me loves the empty space. The best thing about living in Hollywood is the beauty. There is something magical around every corner. People love dogs here. There are charming streets that you would swear belong in a small town, and then there’s the mid-century bungalows and modern hillside homes all nestled together among the banana palms.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words:

Compassionate – Creative – Fun

If you could choose one super power what would it be?

I would be able to find every unloved abandoned pet their forever home. I would have the power for everyone to treat animals with loving kindness.

What is the name of your blog and business and where can we find you?

Christine Rose Elle .. I’m a photographer as well as a life coach, so I use my name to share both.

What is the purpose at the heart of your work?

The purpose of my business is to create gorgeous portraits inspired by the glamour of Old Hollywood and help my clients feel comfortable to step into their role as a Hollywood starlet for a day, by creating a memorable experience as well as capturing their beauty in timeless, keepsake portraits they cherish forever.

I help her to take risks, transform, uncover the heart of her innermost secret desires and to take steps to go after them. Beauty portraits are an integral part of that process. It’s the process of waking up to yourself, seeing yourself and sharing that self with people you love.

It’s my mission to help people feel beautiful inside and out, and to capture their radiance with my camera, and uncover their heart with my coaching so they truly see the depth of their beauty.

If you could choose any celebrity to become the Ambassador for your business who would you choose and why?

Dita Von Teese. I love her style and how she has created a brand by just being completely herself.

What do you think is the most important thing for us to teach the children of our generation?

How to self soothe.

Which food and drink do you consider essential to your mental and physical wellbeing?

I’d love to say kale and green smoothies, but chocolate seems a little more accurate.

How do you take care of yourself amongst the busy demands of daily life?

The most essential thing for my self care is allowing myself plenty of quiet time to think, process and dream.  If I don’t get it, I don’t like myself as much and become way less competent in everything.

Is there a charity or cause that you are currently aligned with or that you are planning to support through your work in the future?

I would love to become more active in helping animals get adopted. I think if people knew how many adoptable animals are destroyed daily in Los Angeles alone, they would be heart broken.

What has been your greatest lesson in life so far?

What it means to have plenty. What is truly essential, and how to live with less. Living with less has also lead me to value experiences over stuff.

What is your best advice for anyone else who has a dream to be extra-ordinary?

Take the first step and be willing to allow uncomfortable feelings.
