10 on 10 June: Newcastle

Newcastle is all new, and lovely, especially when the Winter weather looks like this! Some of our most treasured friends have recently moved to Newcastle so we are spending a little more time there, and there is a lot to discover. Lots of lovely new cafes, restaurants, wine bars, artists, markets, shops, parks and harbour side adventures!

Here are a few of my favourite places so far:

Money Penny is a really cute small bar right on the harbour with delish cocktails and tapas.

The Olive Tree Market is set in Civic Park amongst the olive trees and has some lovely designers and artists plus food!

Honeysuckle Hotel is also right on the harbour and is perfect for lunch with or without kids.

Talulah is a gorgeous Moroccan style cafe by day and restaurant/bar by night.

The Anzac Walk is on my list for our next visit.

PS: If you were wondering .. I took all of these photos on my iPhone 5 and they were all edited with Afterlight this time xx

I can see why you enjoy your visits to Newcastle. Gorgeous photo of the road overlooking the ocean and some delicate camellia photos showing the season. I love camellias as they provide some needed colour to our autumn/winter gardens. Nice post this month.

Are those camellia blossoms? Those are some of my very favorite flowers. Ours bloom in January/February, towards the end of our cooler weather. The photos with sunflare are pretty amazing.

Great shots! I love afterlight for taking and editing photos on my phone!

Aren’t they just the most beautiful flower, so delicate and such detail xx
Thank you so much for the kind words I really appreciate your thoughts.
